How to participate…
The Fiesta welcomes participants such as local community groups, sports, arts and businesses.
Help make this special June weekend a success. Find out how you can participate!
Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart of Fiesta! The Point Grey Fiesta has been organized by a dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers since 1986. Volunteers change every year and we’re always looking for more helpful hands for many different activities. Planning begins six months before the Fiesta June weekend, and many additional volunteers are needed during the weekend itself. Learn more about the wide variety of volunteer positions available — from media promotions and newsletter writing to poster distribution and stage crew — during the weeks leading up to the Fiesta and during the Fiesta weekend.
The Fiesta’s success is dependent on the many organisations that are part of the event – the parade and park – who join us year after year.
Volunteers are critical to any community event. Be part of the Fiesta organizing committee or help on Fiesta Saturday.
Register as a volunteer below or email info@pointgreyfiesta.org. A committee member will be in touch with you.

Sponsorship Opportunity
The Point Grey Fiesta, your community’s start-of-summer celebration since 1986, relies on sponsors who help cover our operating expenses.
Your support is an incredible motivator and inspiration to our volunteers who plan and deliver our community celebration. Your support allows all Fiesta events to be enjoyed by families free of charge, weekend carnival rides excepted.
Your sponsorship allows you to get in front of your target westside market and give back to your community. We estimate our weekend attendance at 5,000 comprised mainly of families with children under 12 years of age.
Fiesta marketing includes social media such as Facebook & Instagram. Our print media marketing reaches most of Vancouver’s westside. Our advertising budget is $10,000 within our total expenses of $25,000. Our goal is to raise 50% of our revenues from sponsorship.
